What can I do to help me stay "up" even during "down" times?

ANSWER:
I hear this question from almost every audience. It is true that we all work hard at thinking good thoughts, keeping our attitudes positive, and staying in an "up" frame of mind. But even by using all of our inside abilities, we have to have outside stimulus as well. That is why it is so important to develop a daily, weekly, monthly motivation system. It seems a lot easier to stay motivated when things are going good. However, we need to motivate ourselves during the "good" times as well as the "down" times. To do this effectively, we need to use outside sources. Books, seminars, every possible source of positive support needs to be utilized. I believe in this and that is one reason why I send you Motivation Minutes daily. As I write every day it helps me to stay "up" knowing I am helping you.
If you are not using a daily, weekly, monthly system of audio motivation, you are neglecting a most valuable development technique. We sometimes forget to remember just how important "repetition" is to our staying motivated. I strongly suggest that you commit to a system of listening and reading.
